We warmly invite you to a 2-hour workshop where we will use movement, breath, touch and listening to explore the concept of radical rest(1) as a form of care and an act of resistance within a capitalist system.
The workshop R.I.P. will offer a space to explore our relationship with rest in the context of our work and daily lives. What does rest mean to you? Do you rest in peace? How could a change of perspective on rest contribute to caring communities?
By rehearsing these new forms of being, we hope to contribute to a more caring world where our right to rest becomes a delicious daily practice.
Hanna Zorandy loves the body and its aliveness. After becoming a biologist, she turned her attention to the body by becoming a Pantarei(2) practitioner. Today, she is a full-time somatic practitioner where she gives space to the wonderful beings that we are, the knowledge that we already have and the juiciness of life.
Sandra Stark is an artist and researcher. In her work, she creates spaces that encourage people to move, explore and connect to their bodies as an important resource for life, aliveness, sensitivity, creativity, connection, understanding and play.
